Katie Price is having the Time Of Her Life in Marbella

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Putting on a show: Katie Price is lifted out of the water by Argentine boyfriend Leandro Penna at the Ocean Club in Marbella, Spain

She'd only been in Spain a matter of hours - but there was no danger of Katie Price blending into the background in Marbella yesterday.

The glamour model made sure she hogged the limelight from her Only Way Is Essex pals at the Ocean Club as she put on a public display of affection with boyfriend Leandro Penna.

Wearing a tiny aquamarine bikini, the 33-year-old made sure she garnered plenty of attention from the hundreds of revellers as she recreated the iconic lift from Dirty Dancing.

As she rushed into the pool - still wearing her striped maxi dress, her Argentine model boyfriend, 25, lifted her above his head, before she went crashing head first into the pool.

Looking on at her pool antics were long-time pal, former glamour model-turned-DJ Lauren Pope with fellow The Only Way Is Essex stars, Kirk Norcross and Page 3 pin-up Maria Fowler.

Fowler showed off her surgically-enhanced cleavage in a New Look padded sequinned bikini top and pink Leg Avenue bottoms.

Passionate: Price and Penna - who she's been dating for three months - put on a public show of affection in the pool

Her former housemate Pope, aka Popey, also opted for a pink bikini as she chilled out with her boyfriend Norcross.

It appeared Norcross might have overdone the sunbathing as his back appeared rather red.

Writing on her Twitter, Pope, 27, said: 'Sunning myself at Ocean Club in Marbs with Kirk, Micky Norcross and DJ Ricky D. Waiting for Maria Fowler to arrive!'

Fun in the sun: Price, Pope and Penna share a laugh in the pool

Kirk added: 'Chilling in the ocean club with my sexy girlfriend Lauren. Catching a lovely tan :).'

The rich friends hired out a 'Super VIP Square Bed' by the pool at the exclusive beach club, with costs 750 Euros (£650) a day and requires customers spend a minimum of 1,000 Euros (£867) on food and alcohol.

The gang were at a party organised by Sintillate - who were also hosting a night-time event at the Tibu club, where Pope was DJing later that night.

This is the life: Price sips on a cocktail as she lies back on her sun bed

Busy Fowler had started off the day at the Buddha Beach party - where she joined TOWIE co-stars Lydia Bright and Lucy Mecklenburgh - before moving on to Ocean Club.

Also making a brief appearance at Ocean Club was Mark Wright, who is hosting rival club nights with his Unique Parties company.

Price arrived in Marbella on Saturday morning after celebrating her son Harvey's ninth birthday on Friday.

But it appears after a day of drinking in the sun, Price was feeling a bit tired and headed back to her hotel suite with Penna for a siesta before their night out.

Full body skeletal tattoo, beds of nails and calling himself 'Zombie Boy'... meet Lady Gaga's new best friend

By Daily Mail Reporter

Copycat: Gaga appears alongside 'Zombie Boy' Rick Genest in her new music video Born This Way

It takes a pretty unusual person to make Lady Gaga look downright conservative.

But the current darling of the fashion and music world, Rick Genest, aka Zombie Boy, has done just that.

The Montreal-native burst on to the scene after Gaga's stylist Nicole Formichetti discovered the tattooed model on Facebook, where he has over 20,000 fans.

Formichetti, the new Creative Director for designer Thierry Mugler, quickly snapped Genest up as his muse.

He appears alongside Gaga in the video for her new single Born this Way, and for once, the singer is the style follower, copying his skeletal body art with make-up.

He also starred in Formichetti's debut runway show for the fashion house last week in Paris.

'Freak show': Genest says he considers himself 'a sexual performer'

Fashion world darling: The Montreal-native is muse to Gaga's stylist Nicola Formichetti after the designer discovered him on Facebook

His rise from obscurity to fame has been sudden, and he appears as surprised as anyone else.

Backstage at the Theirry Mugler show at Paris Fashion Week, he told New York fashion bible WWD, 'I’m super privileged.'

He describes himself as a 'sexual performer,' and says, not surprisingly: 'I like the whole freak-show atmosphere,' saying his antics include the usual beds of nails.

And Rick has also proved a hit with the ladies, with scores of Fashion Week attendees lining up to have their picture taken with the tattooed wonder.

Muse: Genest walked alongside Lady Gaga at Formichetti's debut catwalk show for Thierry Mugler last week

The soft-spoken model told Grazia this week: 'When I was a kid I fell in love with zombies and wanted to become one.

'The closest thing I could get to becoming a zombie was to get tattooed like one.'

He adds: 'I'm so used to them now that I don't see them anymore.'

Unmasked, the tattooed freak who's become Lady Gaga's new best friend (but it turns out he's really a mummy's boy)

By Fiona Roberts

Gruesome look: Rick Genest, also known as Zombie Boy, shot to fame when he appeared in the music video for Born This Way with Lady Gaga

Covered in skeletal tattoos to make his body resemble a decomposing corpse, Lady Gaga's latest video co-star probably isn't the kind of man you'd take home to meet your parents.

The mysterious 25-year-old has shot to fame after displaying his macabre body art in Gaga's video for Born This Way.

But MailOnline can reveal the man behind the tattoos - Rick Genest, a Canadian model known as Zombie Boy - is a doting son who always texts his mum back.

Grim: Genest looks macabre - but is in fact a good son who always texts his mother back

Muse: Genest walked alongside Lady Gaga at Formichetti's debut catwalk show for Thierry Mugler last week

His mother Catheryne today described her son as a 'quiet, loving boy', who waited until he was 16 to have his first tattoo out of respect for his parents.

Genest, whose entire head and torso are covered in gory tattoos, seemed to come from nowhere - and it turns out Nicola Formichetti, Gaga's stylist, quite literally plucked him from obscurity.

Until January he was living on the streets of Montreal, where he was living as a 'bum', doing everything from window-cleaning to performing as a circus freak to pay for his next tattoo.

Now bilingual Genest is a catwalk star, modelling Thierry Mugler's latest collection for Paris Fashion Week.

Blank canvas: Rick Genest, left, is pictured here before he began transforming his face and body with tattoos to make him look like a decomposing corpse

Rotting away: Somehow Genest makes Lady Gaga look conservative

The self-described 'punk' is a well-known figure in the Quebec city, where he spent three or four years slowly inking his body, spending at least $7,000 on tattoos.

In 2006, he told Bizarre magazine his tattoos were 'about the human body as a decomposing corpse – the art of a rotting cadaver. It’s also a tribute to horror movies, which I love.'

He has 20,000 fans on his Facebook page - where Formichetti, Thierry Mugler's new creative director, first found him - and is a popular figure in the city's underground scene.

He grew up and went to school in Chateauguay, a Montreal suburb, and left home at 17 after he finished high school.

Good big brother: Genest also looks out for his younger brother and sister, his mother says

Art: Genest is using his entire body as a canvas

Despite his unconventional lifestyle, his mother said she is proud of her son - and he always replies to her text messages, even now he is leading a glamorous life on the catwalks of Europe.

His mother said: 'He's doing what he wants to do. He's always been a very artistic person and a good student - he's so artistic.

'People go their own way. Rick has lived his own way by choice.'

Mrs Genest, 47, called her son as 'unique', and said he is a 'fantastic' brother to his two younger siblings, who are 20 and 22.

They have taken more conventional routes - his brother is at university and his sister works in a hospital. Mrs Genest describes herself and her husband Roc as 'very conservative', but said they have accepted their son for who he is.

'Loving boy': His mother Catheryne said she is proud of her son Rick, who she described as a 'unique child'

She said: 'Rick will always be himself. He's very loving to his family, and faithful to his friends. His grandparents love him very much, he has been to family weddings, everybody has always accepted him as himself.'

'Within the family he is a very loving boy, he's very respectful to us.

She said: 'At stores, people will stop and look, but he's never been embarrassed by his tattoos. He's a quiet boy.'

But she says there are two sides to every story - and is quite happy for him to have a very different image outside the home.

Genest waited until he was 16 to have his first tattoo, but his mother said they were always his 'passion'.

Most of his designs were inked by Montreal tattoo artist Frank Lewis, who said Genest first came to him when he was 21.

Circus freak: Rick Genest used to lie on a bed of nails as part of an act in Montreal
They work through the designs together, then Mr Lewis traces an outline in marker and fills it in free-hand. Each session takes between two and four hours.

According to Mr Lewis, when Genest first asked him to tattoo his face, he said no - but then he went to another artist and Mr Lewis had to fix it for him.

He said Genest is entirely tattooed from the waist up. The most painful part was the black inking on his nose.

But Genest is not done yet. He wants to extend his gruesome body art down his legs, too - and in an interview in January said he had even had his tongue slit, to make him look like a reptile.

But talking to his mother, it seems whatever he does, Genest will still be welcomed home.

She said: 'He's not a bad boy at all. He is unique and we love him the way he is.'

Take that pull off boy-band exuberance of their youth and the pyrotechnics of a modern rock show

By Adrian Thrills

Welcome to the stage: Robbie joined the rest of his Take That bandmates after they introduced him to the crowd

As Gary Barlow reminded fans last night, Take That have made a habit of starting tours in the North East of England.

So it was in keeping with band tradition that the Stadium Of Light was the venue for the group's first show in 16 years with Robbie Williams.

And - despite the grey clouds and drizzle that swirled around the floodlit arena - the newly-restored five-piece brought a warm glow to a chilly evening as they opened their Progress Live tour with a lavishly staged spectacular in front of 54,000 devotees in Sunderland.

Progress Live isn't just the pop event of the summer. With its 29 sold-out stadium shows, it is the biggest tour to ever grace these shores.

By the time the band play the last of eight record-breaking shows at Wembley Stadium in July - one more than Michael Jackson did on his Bad tour - they will have royally entertained 1.8 million fans.

The night featured plenty of brotherly bonhomie, group hugs - and a series of spectacular visual effects that included a fully mobile, 60 foot high robotic man, tracksuits fitted with LEDs and a huge wall of water that was scaled by dancing acrobats in wetsuits.

First, though, the band engaged in a classic pop tease as Barlow and fellow group members Mark Owen, Jason Orange and Howard Donald came onstage sans Robbie.

Man band: Robbie Williams, Gary Barlow, Jason Orange, Mark Owen and Howard Donald hold hands on stage as they reunite in concert

Here he comes: Robbie Williams was brought down onto the stage on a mechanical hand before jumping onto another prop to start singing

This was the line-up that made the Beautiful World and Circus albums to usher in an era of renewed success in the Noughties, when the band returned after a ten-year hiatus.

The opening numbers reflected this period. Smart in a velvet tuxedo, Barlow led the band through Rule The World, Greatest Day and the singalongs Shine and Patience.

Despite the drizzle which arrived bang on cue as the band came on, spirits were lifted by a huge blast of yellow confetti and an Alice In Wonderland-style troupe of dancing trees, roller skating bees and a large purple caterpillar.

The band's between-song banter may have been a little stilted and scripted, but the singing was peerless.

'I realise I'm using the word brilliant a lot tonight,' said Barlow, before adding: 'We've got someone else who might just come along later.'

Screaming fans: A whopping 54,000 fans filled the stadium in Sunderland for their Progress Live 2011 tour

To loud cheers, that moment came 30 minutes into a two-hour set. Robbie, clad in black, was winched onto the stage, where he ran through an electrifying salvo of his solo hits.

His return has given the group fresh impetus. Without him, they can be a bunch of cuddly nice-guys who rely heavily on Barlow's penchant for writing lush, mature piano ballads.

With Williams back in the fold, there is an air of edgy unpredictability.

There is also, of course, Robbie's tendency to be a loose canon. In what was otherwise a show fit for all the family, the end of Rock DJ was marked by some risque asides as Williams blurted: 'I've done coke and sh****d a whore - that's what a super injunction is for.' With Robbie, there is always a risk.

Musically, however, his live re-integration went well. There were emotional scenes and a few tears as the five came together onstage for the first time. And the second half of the evening was a collective triumph.

Extravagant stage show: The giant mechanical robot on stage was nicknamed Om by the band

Songs from recent album Progress came next. On comeback single The Flood, Robbie sang of 'shouting love at the world,' reiterating that Take That - like The Beatles in the Sixties - have made it their job to cheer up the nation.

By this point, the show's visual centrepiece, the robo-man, nicknamed Om by the band, had emerged from behind the stage.

By the end of the show, he was standing aloft in what would have been the stadium's centre circle.

So where does this extravaganza leave Take That? If they straddle an awkward divide between maturing 'man band' and serious musical entity, they do it with aplomb, one minute indulging in stadium rock pyrotechnics and the next enacting a choreographed dance routine to old hit Pray.

Grim beginning: Fans had to brave the rain and cold weather before entering the stadium in Sunderland for the spectacular show

Camping out: Fans queing outside the Stadium of Light in Sunderland ahead of the concert

But the whistles and bells would be nothing without a catalogue of great songs - and the combined might of Take That and Robbie is truly something to behold.

Returning for a gleefully received encore, the quintet sang a poignant No Regrets - a Robbie solo hit inspired by his 1995 departure - before launching into a high-octane cover of the disco-era classic Relight My Fire.

Robbie might have supplied some of the most electrifying, crowd-pleasing moments.

But in one of the country's newest football theatres, this was a home win for the team.

For one night at least, Take That turned it into the Stadium Of Relight.

The Take That look: Fans arriving for the concert made sure to wear their Take That T-shirts to celebrate their night with Gary, Howard, Jason, Mark and Robbie

Die hard fans: These two women even made a home made poster to show their love for Take That

Sounds good: The boys are back in business as they film the video for their new single, Love Love

Me and my girl: Teen star Justin Bieber enjoys a very grown-up romance with girlfriend Selena Gomez

By Daily Mail Reporter

Gissa kiss: Bieber leans into his Disney belle as they smooch in the sea

He's just 17 years old, but as a world-famous pop star Justin Bieber has seen more of the world than men twice his age.

And as he frolicked on the beach in Maui with his young starlet girlfriend, Disney star Selena Gomez, 18, with her arms and legs wrapped around him, he certainly seemed older than his years.

The baby faced singer has been enjoying a romantic vacation with Selena, staying in a $10,000 a night suite at the Four Seasons Hotel - apparently without the supervision of their parents, or minders.

Justin took charge of the jetski, powering through the waves as his girlfriend clung to his waist at one point tenderly placing her hands on his shoulders.

The pairing of two such teen stars is a publicist's dream. But while they are reportedly being supervised by their parents - they made sure to stay out of shot so as not to spoil the stunning pictures.

While on the parasail - which had a rather fitting smiley face design on it - they took their relationship to dizzying new heights.

The couple are reportedly staying in an exclusive $10,000-a-night suite at the Four Seasons resort.

According to website Hollywood Life: 'The pair are in the Maile Suite, a luxury palace on the seventh floor of the resort.

Making a splash: The pop superstar grimaces as he powers through the waves with his girlfriend Selena Gomez in tow

'The signature of the three bedroom suite is floor-to-ceiling windows which allow a magnificent ocean view.'

The suite, which they're sharing with their parents, has three bedrooms and five beds.

Special features include a 50-inch flat-screen television with DVD player, a stereo with CD player and a music and movie library, a marble master bathroom with a deep soaking tub with whirlpool and a separate eucalyptus rain shower.

Smiles high: The couple are lifted high above the sea during a parasail ride - their parachute reflecting the happy mood of their holiday

Love boat: Justin and Selena, centre, head out on the ocean waves as they prepare to embark on their exciting parasail ride

The couple can also enjoy romantic meals in the elegant dining room which features an adjoining butler's kitchen. They also have their own 24-hour personal concierge.

Whether the youngsters are allowed to share a bed together is unknown, although with Justin being a minor it's doubtful their parents would allow such a thing.

However, Justin and Selena's time on the beach appears to be completely unsupervised.

At no point during their romantic day together did there seem to be any elders present - aside from their parasail ride of course.

The teens apparently spent most of their time together without minders or their parents.

But the holiday isn't all romance for the youngsters - both are accompanied by their parents, who were elsewhere as they enjoyed their trip to the beach.

As Justin cavorted with Selena, he revealed his two tattoos.

Braving the ocean: Justin shows off his Hebrew tattoo as he and Selena take a dip in Maui

One, on his stomach, is the outline of the seagull from Jonathan Livingston Seagull, a tattoo he had done to match his father and uncle and mark his 16th birthday.

The other, on his torso, is in Hebrew.

As Bieber is aged under 18 he needed parental permission to get his tattoos.

Too young? Justin has two tiny tattoos at the tender age of 16, one on his chest and one on his torso

He and Selena only went completely public with their romance at the Billboard Music Awards show in Las Vegas last weekend - sharing kisses and hugs in the audience.

The young lovebirds smooched as Justin dominated the star-studded ceremony last weekend.

Selena appeared to be making a good impression on her boyfriend's family, as she sat with her arm around Justin's mother, Pattie Mallette.

She was, however, notably absent from her boyfriend's two acceptance speeches.
Justin, who was wearing a gold tuxedo jacket, grinned as he took home six awards

The pint-size pop star shared a slightly awkward hug with Selena as his name was read out as the winner of digital artist of the year.

Holding hands: The pair later went for a stroll on the beach, with Selena covering up in a crocheted top

Daring: The adventurous couple went jet skiing and para-sailing

He thanked his family, his fans, manager Scooter Braun and Usher - who signed the youngster to his record label and turned him into a superstar.

'Basically everyone who helped me get out of my hometown and live my dream,' he said.

The young couple made up for their awkward moment as the former YouTube sensation was named the top new artist of the year.

Justin leaned in for a passionate kiss with his girlfriend and Selena beamed with delight as she watched her boyfriend on stage.

Shirtless: The teen singer wore a pair of bath shorts teamed with flip flops while Selena donned a pink bikini top and Daisy Dukes

The Canadian pop sensation thanked 'God' as he picked up his second award and paid tribute to his proud mother.

'Mom - you've been amazing. You've been travelling with me, putting up with all my crap,' he said.

Justin also won awards for top pop album, top streaming artist, top song and top social media artist.
